lame chair

so i just went to sit down at the comp in the ciber ( its a  room of computers) its full of people and as i went to sit i just kept going till i was in my tush and everyone was looking at me. wohoo! the chair leg totaly broke from under me, chuuu maybe im gaining waight. haha. im fine that was just a funny story.

 

today was transfers but im stickin around here in oran with hna. peniata. the coolest comp ever. we are pretty happy, and are planning on having a " white christmas", there are a couple of people we are helping prepare for baptisim, a couple who are the parents of a member and then come kids who what to get baptised and are at church every sunday but their parents are in buenas aires so we need to wait for them to come back. i cant think of any stories for this week. this week was kinda of a trunky week, not for me but for a hermana in our house. she just finished her mission and it was weird to think about her going home and then how soon it is until i do. dont worry i dont want to go home, but it was just something that was always present so one thinks about it. it made me ralise how happy i am here. we listen to so many crazy stories and so many horrible life situations, ok alot of times they are  a little over whelming and i dont really like that part. but i do love helping  them, or at least showing them the way of happyness and peace and hope. those 3 things are hard to find in this life, especially with out the gospel in your life.

 the mangos are growing on every corner, the old people are outside on their chairs everynight cuz its too hot inside, the mosquitos are getting use to me and thanksgiving is comming up soon, i cant believe how fast the time goes, i was here last thanksgiving! everyone asks us what it is, so ive found a scripture i like, its one of my favorites now. alma 34:38. anytime we need to feel better, or we are contending with the Spirit of God we need to offer up a prayer and give thanks. it is amazing what gratitude can do for ones life, it makes me think of president monsons talk, of all the things he could share, he talked about gratitude. ok now that im thinking of it i think i alreasy told you all how awesome this scripture is, but owell someone didnt listen last time, so you get it again :)

are there any plans for thinksgiving this year or is  it the off year? please send me all your recepies for stuffing, pies, sweet potatoes, and the turkey , and anything else thanksgiving worthy. we are gonna try to do it right  this year! :)
