the sniffles

yep we enjoyed the snow, but now we all are sick, as well as all the members. but its ok, the work goes on.

so all the grandkids think i will come back all different? haha, no sè, maybe but i dont know,  im still pretty much a dork just with a stronger testimony who speaks spanglish. i remember steven when he got back and i thought he was all different, but i dont think il be that much different. we will just have to wait and see.

this week flew by again. well it was slow but now that its over it seems fast. and i was sad that we wouldnt have much to account for at the end of the week but then maria changed it all yesterday. 

there is a family that we seem to always see, we have lunch with them wednesdays, then the young adult kids are recent converts and we are teaching their cousins at their house. maria isnt a member but has a strong testimony she just had to make a change in her life that she was hoping that she didnt have to. but our Father in Heaven has His own plans and sometimes we have to accept what he has planned for us. she finally made the change, or i guess it just happened and she took it for an answer that she has been waiting for too long to get baptized, so the 7th of aug she will be baptized by her son, who was the first in the family and the most unlikely to get baptized about a year ago. im stoked for her but more then that when she told me a wanted to cry, not cuz im a baby but just cuz i was so happy, she wants to live with her family forever and now she can. she has been waiting a long time, i dont even know if she understands the importance of her decision, but its amazing the gifts our Savior is waiting to give us when we are willing to follow him, and baptism is the first step.

im so happy for her, she is kind of the mom of the missionarys here, she takes care of us but now we get to help take care of her, spiritually :)

today and tomorrow we are having a conference for the hermanas in our mission, we are all excited one - to hear president and 2 - to get to see all the sisters. i never thought i would have such good friends that are from other countries and dont speak english, that sounds weird, but to think that we can be so close but in a different language is cool!

 im doing good, everyone says im loosing weight but im not so sure its true, i think im just normal and i lost what i gained in the mtc. me and my comp are working out our differences :) but its going good, we have fun together and can teach with the spirit which is the most important thing. having companions makes one think about what they want in their future spouse, im just saying... :) iv thought about it now. haha
