new transfers

thanks for actually writing this week! :)

  

and no i can not believe that brooky is 1, or that brian and michelle are going on missions, and yes i can believe that andy did that for jodi and that polly is learning to dye hair :) but why do i never hear anything about david or michael? and with the new baby and everything, nada! i could do the commitment process again if you need it :)

 

i am doing good, i am back in palpala, my comp is doing better, yesterday she was walking around more and her wound was finally closing up, but guess what, i got to take out her stitches! ya her dr liked me cuz im blonde and not afraid of my comp's wound, and he let me take them out. good times. 

but today is the start of new transfer and i have a new comp, hermana zavaleta, from peru. my old comp went to salta. i think president needed to change me so i could get back to work, i was getting lazy and forgetting how to walk all day, after 2 weeks my legs decided i was done :) but nope, its kinda like starting over the mission again, except i get to lead.  it really was an

interesting experience and now i get to relearn and go out there and find new people cuz most of our investigators forgot about us while we were gone. but there are people out there being prepared and we will find them. and if there aren't well then i still be serving the Lord and learning how to be a better person, its a win win.

i've been learning paitence and charity. its the complete opposite of selfishness, so its a tuff one, but i've been blessed with a new comp to keep learning. sometimes it feels like the trials never stop, i guess thats cuz they dont. they just hit one after another. but i know that i am only given the trials that i can handle with the help of my Lord and that i need them to help me grow, and i'm thankful for everyone of them, when times are the hardest all i can do is give a prayer of gratitude, its one of the only things that helps. and i know my Father in Heaven in listening and watching out for me.

the best part about this week was that we got to go to our zone conference, its all the missionaries in our zone and the zone next to ours and our president and his wife talk to us. i love it, its like a mini mtc to jump start us when we start to slack. but he talked about the things that happened the first time Christ came to the earth in His glory, in the Book of Mormon in 3 Nephi, and how this was a type, or a preview of what will happen the next time Christ comes to the earth. its comming soon, but its crazy to read and see whats passing and what will pass. i know this work that im doing now is in preparation for the 2nd comming of Christ. its crazy but true.

we also have a new project as a mission to read the New Testament and look for the teachings of Christ, iv also been reading Jesus the Christ, still (its a long book!) but i love learning about Him, there is so much that i never new or understood and still dont, but i like figuring it out. 

umm i think thats all. its ridiculously cold today, whereas yesterday i was sweating and dieing in the sun :) the weather here is crazy too.
