red day

i will start by telling you about my comp, she is awesome, :) she is excited to do the work, to see that we are doing that we could do better and happy to try something new. she loves everyone! its something i want to learn, we can come away from a horrible door and she wont be put off, just a little sad for them that their hearts are hardend but its out of love. this week we worked. we had to start over and find people to teach, all of the people from the last transfer had droped and werent progressing so we started over, and we found some keepers, haha.

we taught alot in doors but we were able to teach together and it work well together. the weird part is that the people im most excited about teaching again are the people we didnt have a chance to teach in the door but we have a day to go back. friday night all of our apointments fell through, haha that seems to be hapening alot, so we knocked, and we taught in doors, and there was a point in the night when i was just happy to be out knocking doors, that doesn't happen often, i dont hate it but its not something i get excited to do becasue it brings me joy, haha ( that will change from now on) but i was just hapy that we were out side teaching people the basics of the gospel in their doorways,  we wouldnt ask to come in and teach cuz that wasnt working, we just started to teach. it was one of my favorite nights so far. i just felt happy to be working.  dont think that im always unhapy, thats not what i mean but there is a difference between happy and having joy. this was joy.

this week i was able to see that my spanish has gotten better, i can talk to almost everyone, there are still alot of concepts and ruls i dont understand, and its funy having a comp that is just a little bit better then me cuz i cant fall back on the spanish of someone else, but that just means we have to rely on the spirit more. but i hope i dont loose it, right now we are 5 gringas in out apt, the others are a trio, so in the house we speak english and its bad, hehe. but no worries i wont forget!

im excited for this transfer, man time goes fast, but we have a goals and a plan to achive them. because we are both gringas and dont fully understand everything and have the language skills to say everything we are trying to use the members more, so we are getting to know them and asking for help. one thing they do here are family nights but for more then one family to get to know eachother, maybe to help the missionary work instead of just busting out the book of mormon on them you could have family night and invite a family to come. tell them about how your family has a set time togeather to grow closer as a family, and then teach with the book for mormon for the lesson. its an idea. i know its weird to share the gospel with others, but seriously the refrences of members are the people who progress the most and have the most success in the church becasue they already have a friend and an example. people are too shy to ask us what we believe, we need to be the one that brings it up. but dont think they have never thought about it.

i am good, and happy and excited to work. i think i woke up last week and now im ready for the day.
thanks for the love. te amo!
