hola! the first day of another transfer. yep and my dear hermana da silva has left me. it was weird cuz we both felt we would stay together but nope, the lord has other plans for us. she is awesome and its cool to see how much we grew to love eachother, i will miss her.

my new comp  is hermana perersen, she has a year in the mission and is from washington. i met her back in jujuy and she is pretty awwsome, she gets excited about the work and has an amazing testimony. its a little scary to be the one left in the area and have to remember where everyone lives and all the people we can use to help us and the way to get there. ya im a little apprehensive for this week but i know i shouldnt be, the lord knows my capabilities and will help with the rest, and if we are obedient and doing what we should no one will become inactive or lost because i  couldnt find my way :)

last week was a good one, we were able to find new people to teach, my favorite was saturday morning, we had 2 lessons with college age guys, but we cant enter a  mans home if he is alone so we have to have member sisters with us, but the night before we couldnt  find anyone to help, we called everyone, but i knew if we prayed it would work out and we would find someone. then saturday morning we tried calling agian but no. and then one of the girls we had called the night before called us back and said she could help with both of the lessons. it was awesome and a clear answer to our prayers. then when we got to the lesson he wasnt there, and we had time before the next lesson. so we decided to knock doors near by and i said to  do one block but my comp said she had already knocked it but i hadnt so we decided to knock it with this member.

the first door we knocked was a lady, susana, she told us that she had taken lessons with the elders 10 years ago but didnt progress, and last night she was having questions about life and what happens after and she remembered the book of mormon and she wanted to read it to find the answers to her questions, but her husband had taken it (or something, but she didnt have it) but it was so cool, that the night before she had been thinking about the book of mormon, and then the next morning we show up. and the member that we had with us was awesome and helped us testify.

it was just a really cool experience that i know didnt happen by chance. becasue if we didnt have a member maybe we wouldnt even have gone over there becasue we wouldnt have been able to teach the guys, and if we had come any later she wouldnt have been there cuz she was leaving for work when we found her. i dont know what will come of it but it was awesome to experience. i never thought i would have one of those mission experiences.

the other uplifting part was to think that someone who was taught 10 years ago can still progress, and all of the people that we teach, maybe one day down the road they will remember what we taught and find the church again and be baptised, that there is always hope and even if they dont progress now doesnt mean im waitsting my time. this is the work of the lord and he has a way, i will never understand or comprehend but i dont need to ( even though there are days i really want to)

its still hotand humid, still have random rainstorms, i have to work harder on speaking spanish now because we will be all gringas in our apt with no latinas to make us speak spanish. :) but i promised hna da silva i would do it. im glad to hear everyone is ok, please stay safe and earthquake proof your houses. i pray for all of you but you have to do your part too :) its a crazy time and these really are the latter days, in spanish its a little more dramatic,  " ultimos"   like last days. but really they are. read pray and go to church they are the basics and the things that are the most easy not to do. but that keep us strong when we are weak.

i love you all,  keep smiling.
love hermana hasonson
