nope i cant believe it! i can not believe that the year has gone by so fast and i will be calling home again this saturday, crazy and ya i dont know what i'll be saying, but you should all practice up on your spanish and we will see how that goes.
this was a crazy week, we met some really cool people that accepted what we taught and are excited to learn more.
something awesome about this transfer (cuz it ends on the 27th) has been the amount of people who have accepted us and then made a comment like" did you two know each other before, because you are very united when you teach" or "i have never listened to the missionaries untill you 2 found me, i would invite them in but never listened, but there is something about you that i like" or " I've listened to alot of different missionaries but i've never felt anything before, now i feel it, i know its true" ahhh its amazing. but i'm not basking in my talents because really i don't have any, we are just our dorky selves and we love these people and have been trying to apply what we have been learning, which is basically ask more questions and listen more, teach people not lessons! and we love each other so it just flows better. and not everyone of them have ended in a baptism but we have changes some lives and the only way these lives have changed is through the Spirit. i know that in my own strength i am weak but my Father in heaven is not, so He does the talking i just open my mouth. or at least i try to. i know that i am here with my comp for a reason, there were people prepared here for us to find and we will find them. in sun ( lots and lots of sun) or rain ( on a good day) we will be out in the street. i love it when people freak out becasue we tell them we were out working on some of the hot days, it just makes me laugh, its just cuz thats what we do, and we always do it, it doesn't really matter what the weather is. we just try to think about the pioneers and we feel a little better. hahah alma 26:12, its worth the fight and i know this is the work of God.
as for Christmas we will be visiting members on the 24th and sharing a message of Christ. then the other sister missionaries that are about 3 hours away will come sleep with us and we are going to sing carols at the hopsital on the 25th in the morning. here the traditions are different, the 24th is the big day, they eat/ party from 6 to midnight and then at midnight they have fireworks like crazy! its kind of the same for new years as well. we will be able to see the fireworks from our patio that is enclosed.
my comp is helping me realize the importance of goals, ive never really been good at goals, i can make them but keeping them is different, but im working on them. we will see how they go.
this is short but i still have alot of love for you! :9 i hope everyone can enjoy Christmas and have the time to think about Christ and what He has done for you personally in your life, ill do it too.
merry Christmas and happy holidays!!!
te quiero! , te amo, te extraño
