a couple of pics

my comp has all the photos i like, but these are a couple for fun.

the latina is my comp, hernama zavaleta from peru.

the baptisim is maria. she was baptised about a month ago, and yesterday called to be the relief society secretary. woohoo!

the other is me and hermana rider. she was a friend from utah state, we were in the same mission prep class and now in the same mission!

ok this week flew by! wednesday we had a confrence with elder foster of the 70. that was awesome. it was all about how God truely is our Father in Heaven, and how that means that we personally knows us by name and what we need and how to help us. He told us that the majority of the people in the world including members of the church dont turely believe that God knows them. we read alot in the Pearl of Great Price about the creation of the world and then in D&C where God calls people by name for mission calls or other callings. its amazing to learn about the greatness of the earth and amazingness of this life and how there are thousands of millions people on the earth and feel very insignicant, and then read about how we are called by name by our Heavenly Father, i know that He truely knows who we are and what we need. He is just waiting for us to ask before He can answer our prayers. and He will answer our prayers, maybe not in the time frame we want but He will answer us. I know with all my heart that He individually knows each and everyone of us. if not this work wouldnt be possible, church callings wouldnt be inspired from God. We lived with Him before this life, and there we learned and progressed along side of Him, we have forgotten but He has not. We are His children. life is easier when we remember that we have a Father in Heaven who loves us because we are His. it is amazing, and im thankful for the opportunity to help others learn to feel this love. If any of you have never thought about this before or doubt it, i would invite you to pray with heart and ask Him yourselves if He knows you, and do it out loud and solo, its always better that way :)

Fabiana, our investigator who i told you about the last time isnt doing too good. her mom is in the hospital with cancer, they say its fatal and fabiana has to be with her 24/7 in the hospital. no one else will go and stay with her. i can say from recent experience that staying in a hospital when you arent the one sick is a life draining experience, i cant even imagine what it would be like if the person were dying. she is having her spiritual battle right now, every true convert will have one, its just hard that we cant help her more. she is reading and praying and knows its true, shes just having a downer moment, her faith is growning and she is learning to trust in her Father in Heaven. she is still amazing, we call her but we cant see her now cuz she is in cental about 30 min away, so we have the elders in that area visiting her and today cuz its p-day we went to see her.and brought her an ensign about Jesus Christ.

its starting to get hot here but not ridiculously, il get to get my tan back before i go home, cuz here its hot al spring and summer, oh and so you know il be comming home in march, i think its the 22 but still not positive. what goes on in march? the other day in our district meeting we were talking about goals and how we need goals for the mission and also for when we get home. ya it made me realize that i have no idea what i will do. anyone want to make goals for me? i still have 6 months so there is no rush, but jobs where i could speak spanish would be fun :)

ok im good for now. i love you all and i hope you can all know that you are loved, by me but more importantly by our Father in Heaven, who knows us by name.

have a great week. il be waiting for your notes of love ect monday!

:) con mucho amor! hermana hanson!
