hello! confrence was great, it was totally weird to watch it in a big building and not on a couch with a blanket, i only dosed for one of the talks but my companera kept me awake :) there are too many to have a favorite they were all amazing and had alot to do with what i am doing and teaching, it was funny cuz there were some where i could totally see them using what we learn, like " oh thats lesson 1" :) it was fun.
the talk that impressed me to write home about was elder bednars talk, i feel a special love for him, and i loved what he said about families, we teach about families and how important they are to God's plan for us, but we dont always take the time to show them how important they are to us. i loved it. i feel like our family could use a little bit more of Elder bednars talk in our life, maybe you could al read it together at christmas or something, that wil be my contrabution to christmas this year.
Elder Hollands talk was also amazing, do you realised that his intire talk was a testimony! the whole thing, we teach that principle in 5 minutes and he can go on forever, when he was here talking to us a couple of weeks ago he told us that no one loves the book of mormon more then he does, he said maybe his wife might, but its colse. :) i love his strength and boldness, i feel like i should just make poeple read then when ever they doubt it. but i will just have to strengthin my testimony so i can be that convicted about it ( is that the right word?)
i love this gospel and i love all that i am learning, it gets hard at times, but i have learned that its the hard things in life that are worth fighting for. its the hard that makes them great!
