hahaha you all thought i was gonna spirt spanish :)
hello! i hadent been sending the eamil to everyone,
but i guess that makes since, i guess i just figured
it would go up on the blog so everyone would see
it, ut i can send it to family :) sorry about that.
thanks so much for the shoes and stuff. that was
great. there is a guy in our district named johnson
and at first they though it was for him and then
he was all bummed when he realised it said sister :)
i never know what to say because things dont really
change here, i cant believe it has been 3 weeks,
which means next week i can say iv been here
for a month, which means next week i only have
a month left! ya weird.
i am learning lots! :) i dont think iv ever really been
able to say that i understood the scriptures and
how amazing/important they are. its our entire
gospel, its why we are different/true! i am still
reading in alma and its all about the missionary
stories and they rock, cuz thats me :) and reading
about the plan of salvation when we are working
on that lesson this week, and realising how
precicely this plan has been created. God has
all the glitches worked out, it is cool to read
and be excited to learn because thats what il
be teaching.
another great apaphany i had this week was
howmuch we are blessed as missionaries.
where else in the world can you find 19 year
old boys learning spanish ( or any other language!)
in 3 weeks and being able to testify of the book
of mormon with the spirit. i know that it is only
with the Lords help that this is possible.
ooo did you get my letter about Elder Hollands
talk? ya completly awesome. he reminded me that
this mission isnt just for me, its for you too! :)
ok and ya guess what, i am not the coordinating
sister, what is that you ask? ya not so sure. haha
kj i do know. basically i look after the sisters in our
branch, which at this momoent is me and my
companions :) but when we get new sisters i show
them the ropes and make sure they feel welcome
and all the good stuff, i also check up on them and
make sure they are doing good. but ya, it was just
a little more added to the plate of things i really
need to work on, they say a mission is the most
uplifting and ..humbling experience. or i say at
least. i know there is alot i need to improve on,
and when i decide to get those taken care of,
ops! just throw a couple more thins on that plate :)
but it is good for me, i know i can do more. and
i know the lord is right there by me.
ok in closing i have a good quote. not mine
but i like it " when life gets to hard to stand,
kneel" i like it. thats pretty much the whole mission.
ok. how is the family? and why did i not hear
from anyone but jodi and polly?? we need to work
on this! i know that if you write me you will recieve
the blessings of my love and you will feel closer to
our savior because i am out here for Him, and you
and me. :) thats me working on my challenges.
now accept!
i love you all! -
hermana Hanson.
p.s. i still like getting dear elders better cuz
i can get those every day except sunday ,
but if you want me to get it
tuesday morning then email me:)
